In 2012, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a preparation of phentermine and extended-release topiramate in one capsule

Topiramate was first licensed as an anti-seizure drug, but it has been found help with weight loss and it seems more effective the more overweight you are, to begin with. As far as I can find no one is exactly sure why it works.

However because it works on the brain in epilepsy, it also, therefore, has side effects related to the brain including drowsiness, physical sensation changes, memory loss, and confusion in some people.  And it is not recommended for those with heart disease or high blood pressure or pregnant women

And keep in mind that these side effects are in addition to the ones you may get with phentermine I mentioned in a previous video

Also, remember that not everyone gets side effects, and your chemist can give you an exact break down on the likelihood

The benefits you are likely to see is between 6-10kg or 12-20 lbs extra weight loss in a year

As always – have a chat with your doctor or chemist
