Lao Tzu once said, “If you don’t change direction you may end up where you are heading”. There is a lot of wisdom in this. Have you actually changed? Or have you just pretended to change? Have you changed your automatic food behaviours, have you made time for being active, have you taken time to relax and sleep more, have you reflected on those deeper emotions that may be underlying it all, have you removed or added people in your life depending on their effect on you? Or have you just bought some supplements and are hoping magic happens. Let’s be real – if you want to see change, you have to change what got you there. And if you cannot change them, can you change how we respond to them?
