Dr Ewen Mcphee has been a rural family doctor and GP obstetrician in Emerald, Central Queensland since 1989. Ewen is President of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), past President of the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) and a Senior Fellow for JCU GP Training.
Today we discuss general practice and rural general practice, the pros, the cons, getting doctors into the country, and the future of GP.
