#119: Aortic Stenosis with Professor David Muller, Interventional Cardiologist
Also available on LibSyn and all podcast apps.
Professor David Muller is an interventional cardiologist at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney with a special interest in structural heart disease, complex coronary stenting, peripheral vascular intervention, valvular heart disease and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), and he performs research at the University of New South Wales.
Today we are discussing aortic stenosis, and I do a ~15 minute introduction on the history of surgery – because it is quite amazing how far we have come!
Disclaimer: Professor Muller received no payment for the podcast (nor did I!) however does receive honoraria as a Medical Advisory Board member/consultant to most of the TAVI companies including Medtronic, Abbott and Edwards. Also research funding from the same companies.
