Associate Professor Rebecca Burgell is a gastroenterologist who leads the functional bowel disorders clinic at the Alfred Hospital and is the Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders Service Head, Monash University.  She has a PhD from the University of London in neuro-gastroenterology.

Associate Professor Jane Muir is Head of Translational Nutrition Science in the Department of Gastroenterology, Monash University.  She is a trained dietitian with a PhD in biochemistry and has over 20 years experience in the development of new diet therapies to treat and control diet-related GIT dysfunction, such as the low FODMAP diet.
